Students Help Make History
Mrs. Mabie's Omni students from Pine Beach Elementary were selected to take place in a Rutgers University program entitled RU27. Students wrote letters that were placed on a thumb drive and put on a glider called the "Scarlett Knight". The glider made an historic underwater, trans-Atlantic flight from Tuckerton, NJ to Baiona, Spain. Students were invited to attend a celebration at Rutgers in honor of the flight.
